Terms Entered in Search Tools
When you type a name, location, or other term into a search box, that entry is sent to the outside provider that operates the tool. James City County Released Inmates does not keep or log those search terms on its own systems. The provider's separate privacy terms govern its collection and use.
Messages Sent to Us
If you send an email or contact message, we retain the information needed to read and answer it. We do not share the message outside our organization unless disclosure is required by law or a valid legal process.
